Thanks to supporters like you, over 300 students from Grey & Bruce counties participated in the 89th Annual 2021 Grey County Kiwanis Festival of Music! The festival presented awards totaling over $10,000.00 plus 52 OMFA Provincial nominations. Thirteen of our candidates received OMFA awards in 2021!

The Festival started hosting virtual festivals in 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, but we’ve been missing our ensembles, bands, choirs, and orchestras. We’ve opened up the 2022 virtual festival to all group entrants, with the understanding that school and community groups may be still struggling to get back on track. With this in mind, the OMFA Provincials included duets, trios, and small ensembles for Provincial recommendation and the GCKFM included these classes in our new syllabus.

The music community thanks you for your continued support and we’re looking forward to a wonderful festival in 2022!
Without the support of our community, this festival would not be possible!
