2026 Syllabus - Bands
School Bands are grouped by school grade.
Community Bands are grouped by age.
Music is own choice.
Bands may play a warm-up selection, which must be either a chorale or a scale, not to exceed ONE minute.
Memorization is NOT required.
Participants must provide the adjudicator with an original copy of the music chosen. Failure to do so will result in a "for adjudication only" performance.
AWARDS
Perform two (2) contrasting pieces in your class to be eligible for an award.
PROVINCIALS
While only ONE qualifying piece will be entered as the adjudicator's recommendation and must be performed at Provincials, participants MUST PERFORM TWO PIECES MATCHING THIS DISCIPLINE'S CRITERIA at Provincials.
